Aistes-LSMU established their defensive dominance from the opening tip. While the Latvian team managed to grab 10 offensive rebounds, Aistes-LSMU still held a commanding 18-7 lead after the first ten minutes.
Aistes-LSMU began to pull away in the second quarter. The Lithuanian team extended their lead to 20 points (37-17) and maintained a comfortable advantage until midway through the fourth quarter. At that point, the hosts launched a final surge, narrowing the deficit to 5 points (58-63) in the last minute. However, the Kaunas team weathered this comeback attempt and secured their spot in the final.
Gedvile Savostaite delivered a standout performance for the winners, achieving a double-double of 16 points and 16 rebounds. Migle Kisarauskaite contributed 11 points, and Gintare Paulauskaite added 10.
For the Daugavpils University squad, Arita Baltace led the scoring with 13 points, followed by Jelizaveta Naidjonova (12) and Tamirise Simonova (10).
On Sunday, Daugavpils University will face TTT Riga Juniores in the third-place game at 13:00, while the final between Aistes-LSMU and Panevezys is scheduled for 16:00.
