Neptunas-Amberton Wins Klaipeda Derby, Uniclub Bet-Oaks Get First Win

The week's marquee matchup took place in Klaipeda, where local rivals Neptunas-Amberton and LCC International University tipped off. Neptunas-Amberton emerged victorious once again, winning a hard-fought battle 75-69.

With 3.5 minutes remaining, a three-pointer by Marina Solopova gave Neptunas-Amberton a 10-point lead (69-58), but LCC International University refused to give up. With 19 seconds left, Gerda Raulusaityte converted a 2+1 opportunity to cut the deficit to 4 points (69-73). However, LCC fouled Brigita Sinickaite after a timeout, and she made both free throws to seal the win for Neptunas-Amberton.

Marina Solopova and Egle Sventoraite each scored 15 points for Neptunas-Amberton, while Brigita Sinickaite added 13 and Kate Vilka 11.

Gerda Raulusaityte led LCC International University with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Lina Loceniece scored 15 points, and Elizabete Bulane had 14.

Another close game took place in Tallinn, where TSA/CITYTEED defeated RSU Riga 48-44. The Estonian team held a narrow lead for most of the game, but RSU kept it close until the final buzzer. RSU had a chance to tie the game in the final seconds, but Una Steinharde lost the ball on a steal, and Sofia Kosareva made two free throws to secure the win for TSA/CITYTEED.

Joana Domingas Antonio had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds for TSA/CITYTEED. Katlin Kangur added 10 points, and Sabrina Molina Sosa had 9 points and 10 rebounds.

Paula Cirsa led RSU with 16 points, and Sarlote Petersone scored 9.

Liepaja/LSSS gave undefeated Kibirkstis Vilnius a scare, leading 32-19 after the first quarter. However, Kibirkstis rallied to win 91-74.

Sydney Taylor led Kibirkstis with 27 points. Justina Miknaite scored 15 points, and Giedre Labuckiene had a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds.

Madara Smite and Kitija Muzikante each scored 18 points for Liepaja/LSSS, and Estere Petrus added 13.

In Division B, Aistes-LSMU Kaunas defeated TTT Riga Juniors 67-59 on the road to remain undefeated. The Lithuanian team led for the entire game and built a 15-point lead (60-45) at one point.

Gintare Paulauskaite had a double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds for Aistes-LSMU. Migle Kisarauskaite scored 12 points, and Gedvile Savostaite added 11.

Sarlote Skrebele was the only TTT Riga Juniors player to reach double figures with 15 points.

Uniclub Bet-Oaks Vilnius earned their first win of the season, defeating Latvia U16 67-49 at home. The Vilnius team built a lead in the first quarter and pulled away in the fourth quarter, leading by as many as 19 points (64-45).

Ausrine Belickaite, Emilija Grigaliunaite (12 rebounds), and Emilija Mikoliunaite each scored 13 points for Uniclub Bet-Oaks.

Evelina Sirsnina led Latvia U16 with 17 points, and Estere Krumina scored 14.

In the other Division B game, Panevezys defeated Atletas Kaunas region 107-52 at home.
