Daugavpils University, despite a 61-71 loss to Latvia U16 in their second-leg quarterfinal matchup, advanced thanks to their commanding 73-49 victory in the first game of the series.
The second game started promisingly for Daugavpils University, as they won the first quarter 26-14. However, Latvia U16 responded strongly, taking the second quarter 22-7 and maintaining their lead for the remainder of the game.
Eliza Omula (16 points), Evelina Sirsnina (15), Patricija Tikmere (13), and Marta Petersone (13 points, 11 rebounds) led Latvia U16 to victory. For Daugavpils University, Jelizaveta Naidjonova and Ksenija Petrova each scored 16 points, and Tamirise Simonova contributed 13.
As a result of this outcome, the first semifinal matchup in the Final Four is set: Aistes-LSMU, who finished the regular season with a perfect 12-0 record, will face Daugavpils University.
In the other quarterfinal series, Panevezys once again defeated Atletas, this time 82-45 at home. This victory followed Panevezys' 93-51 win in the first leg played on the road.
Aida Butvilaite (14), UrtÄ— Bukauskaite (12) and Goda Vasurenkaite (11) led the hosts scoring effort. Kateryna Kliuchinykie (19) and Evelina Januseviciute (11) were the leading scorers for Atletas.
