Neptunas-Amberton Klaipeda secured its third win in as many games, rolling past Alytus-GUT.LT 101-59. Anna Liepina was simply unstoppable for the victors. The 18-year-old Latvian center was a force inside, hitting 10 of her 11 two-point attempts to finish with 25 points.
TSA/Tallinn booked its first victory of the season, defending its home court with a 77-69 win over the visitors from Panevezys. The game's outcome was decided in the fourth quarter, which began with the Tallinn squad clinging to a narrow 56-54 lead. The hosts then ripped off a decisive 9-0 run, building an advantage that the visitors could not erase until the final buzzer.
Laura Grunmann led the Estonian team with 25 points, draining 4 of her 7 three-point attempts. Emma-Mia Kuttis contributed a superb all-around game with 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals, while Helena Svilberg and Lisandra Vetesina each chipped in with 11 points.
For Panevezys, Agne Antanaviciute posted an impressive double-double with 19 points and 15 rebounds. Aida Butvilaite added 18 points, and Uliana Datsko scored 16.
TTT Riga and Siauliai-Vilmers also chalked up their second wins of the season.
The Latvian champions left little doubt on their home floor, cruising past Aistes-LSMU Kaunas 86-49. TTT Riga was led by Niyah Becker, who put up 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Ieva Pulvere added 14 points, and Enija Kivite scored 12.
Gintare Paulauskaite (15) and Gedvile Savostaite (12) were the only players to reach double figures for the Kaunas team.
Meanwhile, Siauliai-Vilmers secured a solid 87-67 road victory against RSU Riga. Ugne Grigaliunaite paced the visitors with 17 points, followed by Lily Wahinekapu with 15 and Sabine Lipe with 13.
Luize Septe (14), Kristine Hauka (12), and Paula Cirsa (12) were the top scorers for the RSU squad.
Three more games are on tap for this weekend. On Saturday, Siauliai-Vilmers will host TTT Riga, while TSA/Tallinn plays at home against RSU. Then on Sunday, the week wraps up with a highly intriguing clash between two undefeated teams, as Kibirkstis-TOKS Vilnius welcomes Neptunas-Amberton.
