TTT Riga Juniores controlled the early stages of the game, jumping out to a double-digit lead in the first quarter (24-13). However, it became apparent that neither team would be able to establish a significant cushion, as no lead greater than 5 points would be seen for the rest of the game.
The Final Four hosts, Daugavpils University, battled back and managed to seize a narrow lead late in the second quarter (41-37).
The back-and-forth action continued after halftime, with lead changes becoming a common occurrence. The tension was palpable, reflected in the 76-76 tie score with only 24 seconds remaining.
Daugavpils University ultimately secured the victory thanks to a clutch performance by their leading scorer, Tamirise Simonova, who netted 3 consecutive points. Following a TTT Riga Juniores turnover on the subsequent possession, Jelizaveta Naidjonova sealed the win for the hosts with free throws.
Tamirise Simonova led Daugavpils University with 23 points, while Ksenija Petrova contributed 18, Valerija Baranovska added 14, and Jelizaveta Naidjonova chipped in with 10.
